The Persied meteors will be brightest this year just before dawn on August 12. Mars will also be bright... it's a hoax that it'll be brighter than ever before, but we're approaching perihelion on August 30, so it'll be the brightest non-lunar object in the sky on that date. Get out your binoculars.
Something kind of odd happened... I got a color mindmap. Did someone out there buy this for me for some reason? I bought one a couple of years ago, and posted it, (though I'm not finding it by a quick search at the moment), and thought no more about it until I got an email last night telling me that my mind map was ready. And it's not the old one, it's the people who are on my f'list now....
( What is he on about? )
So, anyway, as I said, kind of odd.
