Cowboy R, Quitter

I quit two games today.

Both of them for essentially the same reason.

The first one was this morning. One of the play by email (PBeM) games I'm in has recently been causing me a lot of stress, and today, an incident occured which made me feel that I'd taken as much as I felt like taking, and I was going to leave.

I did it without fanfare, and without mess... just unsubscribed from the mailing list.

This afternoon, I resigned from [info]sundaygames, for much the same reason. The gaming wasn't good enough to pay for the stress that came along with it.

I don't like drama, I don't like feeling I have to constantly walk on egg shells to keep from offending people I otherwise think well of.

Since I'm the one with the problem, I'm leaving, in both cases.

It's just that simple.

Dream Door

My back hurts, and my stomach is vaguely upset. I'd go home and do nothing but find a comfortable position to read, if not for the fact that Kunga called, and wants to do a late lunch.

I like Kunga, and I do want to catch up with him, so I'm sticking around at work for at least another half hour or so.

But my back hurts.

I've been sleeping on the floor for the last month or so. I don't think it's that, though, or my back would've started hurting a lot sooner. It started a couple of days ago, and has just gradually gotten worse.

It is to be hoped that it will now gradually begin getting better.

Minor flare-up in my PBeM game between myself and one of the other administrators. We're both used to being defered to, and when neither of us was willing to defer to the other, there was a bit of a bubble-over.

Seems to be resolved now, though.

Have I mentioned that my back hurts?
